The Experience
The mistake most people make at the Louvre is trying to see everything. You’ll just end up with "museum feet" and a headache. I prefer a focused approach. We stay in the Sully and Denon wings—that's where the big stories are—and we take our time.
I’ll help you navigate the maze so you're not staring at a map the whole time. Instead, we’ll look for the things you’d miss on your own: the weird composition choices, the political power plays hidden in the portraits, and the actual human drama behind the marble. If you need to sit down for ten minutes or want to spend longer staring at a specific painting, that’s fine. It’s your tour.
If you have trouble walking long distances, just let me know beforehand. I can tweak the route to use elevators and find the shortest paths between the highlights.
Good to Know
- Timing: Try to get there 10–15 minutes early so we can clear security and get moving.
- Weather: Rain doesn't matter since we're inside.
- Restrooms: I know where the good ones are.
- Late Arrivals: If you’re late, it cuts into our time, but I’ll still make sure we see the big stuff.
- Tickets: Already handled. I'll have the details in your confirmation.
Choose Your Tour Length
Classic (2 hours)
The hits. We hit the main icons in Sully and Denon without feeling like we’re rushing too hard.
Extended (2.5 hours)
A bit more breathing room. We can add a few extra rooms or just spend longer chatting about the pieces you love.
